This are probably the best pupusas I've ever tried!
Service is a little slow but worth the wait! -

It's okay salvadorian food
The chicharon pupusas seem like only cheese compared to the pupusas I'm used to.
Other staple food is pretty good like nuegados and the gallina soup. -

Everything was good, it's simply a matter of choice. If you like soft extra cheesy pupusas or soft dry ones. The restaurant is small and crowded. Lots of fluffy Patrons, so it will be a tight squeeze when being seated. I got bumped twice by some belly's trying to get by. The pupusas are slightly greasy, but well made with enough cheese. I initially went there to try the famous, " caldo de gallina" (fresh hen soup), but it was a warm day and warm inside so decided not to. We were seated upside, and it was stuffy and hot. They do have a wall A/C but it was not turned on till later. Careful going upstairs, it will be a steep climb. Short, old fashioned stairs, or makeshift not sure, either way tables clustered together. Tables face both male & female bathroom, and everyone is crammed into small spaces. Waitress was helpful and nice. Poor thing, has to climb those scary stairs, 100x per shift probably. Food was good, slightly overrated and over priced. I'm a big curtido fan(pickled cabbage salad topping) but this restaurant leaves it settling on table. Resulting in lukewarm, not fresh fixings! You can find better pupusas elsewhere TBH, but they do sell Beer/ alcohol so that's a plus.

Usually no complaints about this place, but food took 30+ minutes when it wasn't busy, waitress failed to tell us that they were out of an item, food was cold.
I hope it was just an off day for them, cause the food is usually really good and doesn't take three hours to make.
